our wine is made in the hills and the sea
This was the idea behind the establishment of Cenatiempo Vini d’Ischia in the first half of the twentieth century. Our family-run business has never forgotten its debt to history, as symbolized by our wine cellar dating back to the 1600s, a marvellous structure carved into the hillside of Kalimera. To represent our territory at its finest, the company has set up an extensive and multifaceted structure. Alongside the fascinating and passionate first-hand management of the vineyards, we also oversee the winemaking process, from the harvest to bottling and delivery to customers, with a HoReCa channel handled by an outside company. Furthermore, we intervene as little as possible on the must, relying on controlled temperatures for fermentation and mechanical filtration, and using only trace amounts of sulphites. We choose collaborators and sales partners who share these principles.
